Some of Daniel Taub’s achievements as the Israeli Ambassador to the UK.

When Daniel Taub’s tenure as the Ambassador of Israel to the United Kingdom ended, he believed that it has happened and the Jewish Community in Britain was aware of that. However, the record was there to show that he had the most successful history and the most popular Israeli envoy since the days of Shlomo Argov.

Daniel Taub had stood with Israel in the midst of crises and had been putting Israel’s case to the government. In addition to that, he had been talking to the media programs like Newsnight and Today.

Daniel Taub added that strategic co-operation between Israel and the United Kingdom is a good feeling and the two nations are as high as they have ever been. Daniel Taub remembered there was a day he toured London Embassies and asked the Ambassadors how they managed to put aside their problems from the governments they represent.

Their answers were not the same, but to him, he knew his primary job was to make Israeli people understand his career was to serve them wherever he was.

Daniel said that the Middle East is in turmoil and that the region has to be treated with a lot of humility without dictating what is going on there. He also added that the agreement with Iran had taken a new phase and an extraordinary one for that matter which concerns everyone.

Additionally, Daniel Taub insisted that if Iran, the Iran capabilities will be achieved and that is Israel’s concern. Learn more about Daniel Taub: http://israblog.nana10.co.il/blogread.asp?blog=864881 and http://rabbisacks.org/rabbi-sacks-conversation-daniel-taub/

But if Iran does the opposite, Millions of money will flow into Iranian coffers and head to Hamas and Hezbollah. Daniel Taub emphasizes on the need to have the world focus on the positive side of the Middle East.

Daniel Taub also said that Israel had seen the alignment of interests with a lot of countries like Jordan, Egypt, Gulf States and Saudi Arabia. He said that the US is still supplying Israel with the latest technology and that makes the two countries’ relations incomparable to nothing else.

Daniel Taub added that the Labor Party in both in Israel and Britain are going to re-establish their relations because they have many things in common and both of the countries’ progressive values are the same. Those were some of the remarks that Daniel Taub pointed out during his farewell party as his tenure as the Israel Ambassador to the UK came to an end.
